As we are finally getting a few leaves turning this fall I started thinking about staying warm and cozy in the cold weather ahead. Hudson's Bay Blankets are such a Canadian icon! I wanted to try some fun ideas with them!
This is a simple and fun craft for all ages.
All you need is paper, Glue and scissors!
We looked up the Blankets online to get the colour order correct then pulled out our construction paper and started crafting!
For a 9x12 placemat you will need;
5 pieces of construction paper
1 piece each of White, Blue, Yellow, Red and Green
Glue (we used a glue stick)
scissors
Cut a 1” x 9” wide strip from each of the Blue, Yellow, Red and Green papers
Glue them on about 1” apart onto the White paper starting about 1” from one of the short ends of your paper.
You're done!
