This craft will naturally lead to getting a musical groove on in your house! With simple materials and a quick assembly time, your littles will use one style of cognitive function to complete the guitar and a different brain function to make music.
Use the crafting time to play music genres that are new to your family and ease in some common musical terms and other teaching while they’ve got their minds relating to the activity. Your littles will have fun making and strumming and perhaps even get creative with other things they can do with their box guitar.

Do you have any long narrow piece of wood or any long narrow piece of anything that can act as the neck of the guitar (like a paper towel roll that has been used in the image)? Ask your kids these questions and see if they can come up with alternatives.
