Chocolate Chip Banana Squares
Have you ever found that your bananas ripen before your family can finish them? Is your family tired of banana bread? Are you searching for another way to use them for a tasty purpose? These squares are DELICIOUS and sooooo easy to make!
Kids Quick Cook: Chocolate Chip Banana Squares
- 5 very ripe bananas
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1-3/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips (divided)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Spray 15 x 10.5 pan.
Peel and mash bananas.
Stir in the brown sugar, oil, milk and eggs.
Add dry ingredients and 1/2 of the chocolate chips.
Spread the batter in the pan and then sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
Bake 18-22 minutes. Insert a toothpick, and if it comes out clean it is ready.
Cool completely and then cut into squares.
