This Week at SchoolhouseTeachers ~ Beginning Violin, Asia: Trade Route Safari, and the Monthly Discount Page
Have you been enjoying Nancy Blue’s Beginning Violin lessons in Strings of Praise? So far this month, we’ve learned to play the A scale going up and coming back down. We’ve also learned a little bit about what kinds of seeds we need to sow in order to reap the harvest we are hoping for. We’ll wrap up the month by learning to play by pattern and word patterns on the scale as well as “Jesus is My Savior” and “Twinkle.”
We’ve had quite a time on our Trade Route Safari so far, haven’t we? We’ve seen China, Vietnam, Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. We still need to stop in Thailand and Burma before the month is out! Whew! I’m glad I’m wearing my good sneakers, aren’t you? We’ve met some of the most unique animals—like a Sumatran rhinoceros and a proboscis monkey! We’ve even learned why proboscis monkeys don’t eat ripe fruit! I can’t wait to see what we discover in Thailand and Burma this month!
There are more new discounts on our Monthly Discounts Page, too! From Artterro’s eco art kits to Auto Upkeep’s Homeschool curriculum, enjoy discounts on products you can use in your homeschool. Don’t forget—all SchoolhouseTeachers.com members have a free membership to Applecore, on online system for record keeping, scheduling, creating report cards and portfolios, and more!
