This Week at SchoolhouseTeachers ~ Everyday Explorers Remembers the Battle of Gettysburg

/ / Blog

Come exploring Pennsylvania with us all this month with Everyday Explorers: USA and SchoolhouseTeachers.com. This week, we’ll learn about the Battle of Gettysburg with two special stops. We’ll visit the battlefield and the Shriver house as we commemorate the 150th anniversary of one of the most important battles in the American Civil War.

Later this month, we’ll explore Pennsylvania history with stops at a famous pioneer’s homestead, an underground cave, an historic living history institute, a railroader’s museum, a military museum, a famous landmark in Philadelphia, the site of a heroic mine rescue, and the birthplace of Little League! Come explore Pennsylvania with SchoolhouseTeachers.com!
