The idea of time travel has fascinated me for years. Though it hasn’t been proven to be physically possible, we can transport our minds to distant lands and different periods in world history. We can learn about people and places all over the world with Geography with Terri Johnson, co-owner of Knowledge Quest, Inc. Through 12 months’ worth of lessons, broken down by age group, Terri teaches students from elementary through high school with lessons, maps, and quizzes about different states and countries, ancient Greece and Rome, Industrial England, the Holy Land, and famous people such as Jacques Cartier and Alexander the Great. Students can continue their journey with This Day in History. Located in the Dailies section, this course allows students to focus on a particular event that happened in the past on a specific day of the year through flash cards, short lessons, living book lists, and hands-on activities.
