Well Laid
There is no greater artist than God Himself. Thankfully, He has given men and women the ability to create beautiful works of art as well. Some of these works can be studied in Everyday Easels, under the Dailies tab. Each work of art spans two weeks and is approached from the perspective of the Bible, history, art, science, math, physical education or health, home economics, and language arts. There are also hands-on activities to go with each selection. Students can study architecture, sculpture, and paintings by artists such as Norman Rockwell, Grandma Moses, Piet Mondrian, and Marc Chagall, to name a few. With Everyday Astronomy, also under the Dailies tab, the whole family can study the universe as it was laid out by God. The various units range from 15-27 lessons each and focus on the sun, each of the planets, and our moon. There is an introduction to constellations, some appetizing astronomy recipes, and reading selections about space missions and discoveries.
