SchoolhouseTeachers.com is committed to providing you and your children with the best possible opportunities for education. One way we are doing this is by creating Daily Grammar lessons for 1st grade, 3rd and 4th grades, 5th grade, and 6th and 7th grades. First graders can practice their letters and the sounds they make with some beautiful alphabet flashcards or watch video versions of the flashcards. Third and fourth graders focus on capitalization, synonyms, antonyms, punctuation, contractions, and more. Fifth graders can learn about the proper use of colons and hyphens, as well as review many different aspects of verbs, nouns, sentence structure, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, and so on. Lessons for sixth and seventh graders provide an extensive review of grammar. Each day has a particular focus, and review pages are provided to remind students of the various rules. Worksheets are provided in PDF format so you can print them out, and answer keys are included. In case you’re wondering, second grade lessons are in development.
