What’s Outside?
Winter has had most of us cooped up for months. You might have forgotten what it looks like out there. Even if you don’t want to venture out into the cold, the entire family can join Erin Dean for her Nature/Outdoors class. Each unit comes with two separate tracks, so you can do both or pick and choose. Erin uses videos, informative websites, hands-on activities, and journaling to enhance the learning process for things such as plants, animals, insects, habitats, the weather, the night sky, and rainbows. You can all join Kelli Becton, too, in her Wildlife Adventures class. There are fifteen lessons that cover great birds of the air, mammals, amphibians and reptiles, butterflies, jellyfish, sand dollars, and more. Kelli uses videos, photos, fun activities, and nature notebooking to study math, geography, writing, and more, along with the science of the wildlife.
